Dear family and friends,
Our sweet little boy Wyatt has been home for almost 1 year. So hard to believe. He is the kind of little boy who leaps off of tall buildings in a single bound. He keeps us busy, he keeps us young and he keeps us tired. He as some of you might remember was diagnosed with hip dysplasia. Well in order to help him with his limp, his leg length discrepancy and with possible arthritis and scoliosis in his teens , he will have hip surgery on Tuesday December 3. The surgery is over 4 hours long. He will stay in the hospital for 2 or 3 days and he will be in a spica cast that will keep him immobile for 6-8 weeks. Then he will be in a brace for 2 additional weeks. Then he will wear the brace for a long long time just at night. It will be difficult to see Mr. Activity unable to run, jump or climb. Please join us in praying for him to recover quickly and for this long recovery not to be too difficult on him or on us. Thank you for praying we certainly covet your prayers. Our little guy Hudson should be coming home either in February or March. Please pray that he would remain safe with his foster mommy and that we would travel to go and get him at just the exact right time. Thank you for joining us in prayer. I will post updates from the hospital. God bless you all and Happy Thanksgiving. In the grip of His grace, Dawn
